To optimize learning, students in the 5th and 6th grades, as well as the 7th and 8th grades, are grouped into smaller, proficiency-based clusters for English Language Arts (Reading & Writing) and Mathematics. Humanities and Science classes convene five and four times a week, respectively, with Study Skills woven throughout the subject classes. Additionally, Middle School students participate in a yearlong Integrated Research course, reinforcing essential reading, writing, and technology skills.
